This workshop was very helpful to me because it introduced me to several new mobile devices which my students surely use. In the Fall, I plan to conduct a survey to see if most of my students would prefer to switch to an electronic workbook for their Introductory/Intermediate French courses. I also plan to see how many students have iPads to see if I can help them discover more learning tools.

It was amazing to find out that soon more people will access their email through their phones than their computers! I realized I needed to upgrade my calendaring system and was very impressed with the Omnifocus software introduced by Dr. Kullmann. I intend to purchase it with (hopefully!) an Ipad!

I learned that I can actually do more with my Ipad in terms of course texts and responding to student writing than I had thought. Last spring I made a stab at replacing some course books with books on the Ipad, but I didn't find the books I needed. I also had been told that I couldn't respond to student work on the Ipad. Susan showed me that there were ways to do this, and she also showed me many other uses for my Ipad that I'm happily encountering now. Thanks for the very useful workshop.

The workshop was incredibly helpful. I learned that I can in fact use my Ipad for course texts and for responding to student writing, which I had not fully understood before. I will work this summer on setting up everything for Writing 50 and Core I so that I can bring my Ipad to class instead of heavy books. Thanks, Susan.

I found this workshop to be extremely helpful. I learned that I can get my course texts on my Ipad and that I can also respond to student writing through the Ipad, something I hadn't thought I could easily do. I am currently getting the Ipad set up for the fall courses. Thanks, Susan.
